Of the nearly 65,000 registered voters in Nash County, over 33,000 are registered Democrats! Republicans trail at around 18,000 and Unaffiliated number approximately 13,000, but these figures do not mean victory. We need to register voters, especially 18-35 year olds. We have to educate people on the issues. It’s essential we support and promote Democratic candidates who share our values of equality, unity, prosperity and justice for people and a healthy environment in which to live. We have to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote gets to vote and that their ballot is counted accurately. Nash County is diverse, with a significant rural population and we are committed to the well-being of everyone who calls Nash County home.
